Happy Easter!

The boys had a lot of fun this weekend celebrating Easter! Our neighbor, Suzanne, held her annual egg hunt for the boys and spoiled them with tons of candy - Owen really did well this year finding eggs and is very good at eating lots of chocolate!

The boys had plenty of goodies from the Easter Bunny this morning as well and have been on a sugar high all day long.

We've had glorious weather this weekend with highs near 70 both days and sunny!

I'd say that's the perfect Easter!

Volcano Action and Bounce House Fun

The boys got a volcano kit a few weeks ago and had a lot of fun making colored LAVA come out of the top. I thought I was so fancy getting this kit to make a volcano - and wouldn't you know it, the SAME day the volcano kit came, Colin came home from school saying that they did a volcano in school that day the same way. So much for a surprise...

We also had our friends, Kennedy and Will, over to play in the bounce house. They all went a little crazy!

And just because I'm the mom, I can show you a play-doh creation that Colin made for me!

A weekend with Jerry

Colin is the "Star of the Week" in kindergarten this week. That means he gets to bring home the class pet, Jerry, to spend the weekend with us. We write in a journal about all the things we did with Jerry and the class learns more about Colin this week in school. Plus, he is the teacher's special helper!

Catch Up Time!

Alright. I've been away for AGES. I'm sorry. I'm going to post pictures from our adventures the last few months and vow to be better at this again going forward! :)

We've had a busy and fun winter... with all the Christmas festivities (we even got a barely white Christmas this year!), a visit from the cousins in Georgia and grandma... we can't complain!

Trick or Treat!

The boys had a fabulous time trick or treating tonight! Colin dressed as an Astronaut and Owen was a Dinosaur. We met up with our awesome new neighbors, Lindsey and Patrick, who have a daughter Kennedy and a son Will that are the same age as our boys. Our neighbor, Suzanne, had the most awesome display of the evening with fog and skeletons! It was a super fun time and the rain even stopped for 2 hours for us to stay mostly dry!

Colin: "Mommy, guess what we found?" Mommy: "What?" Colin: "NOTHING!"

"Did the sky scrape all of the clouds away?"
"I can easily just take off any baby locks on the cabinets. Owen and I are partners in time." (crime)
"Baby Jason" (known as Baby Jesus to the rest of the world)
"I think it's OK, I don't see the prosecutor."
"How about some surprise chocolate for dinner?"
"Why is she just SO SO nice, Daddy?" (talking about our dear friend Amy)
